How are the tax entries documented for me?

All tax-relevant transactions are automatically offset on a daily basis.

You can track this in your flatex classic under:
Account & Custody Account > Tax Postings.
Here, you can filter by date or transaction number to view specific entries.

In your flatex next, you will find your tax postings under:
Custody account > Tax postings.

The ending balance shown indicates the corresponding date and the total sums accrued so far, while the starting balance reflects the day of the last transaction.

When can I start using the CFD account?

You can access the CFD Trader under Trading > CFD Trading.

Why is the price of the DE40 different from the DAX at times?

The price of the DE40 is derived from the DAX future, which is adjusted for the financing costs included in that future. This adjustment results in a price level that closely mirrors the DAX40.

The development of the DE40 is therefore directly linked to the movement of the DAX future, which itself is influenced by supply and demand. In exceptional market conditions, such as periods of high volatility, deviations can occur between the DAX future/DE40 and the DAX40.

Calculation method:
DAX40 + hypothetical financing costs (based on the money market interest rate level) up to the expiry date of the future.

As a result, the price of the DAX future is typically higher than the DAX40. However, as the term shortens, financing costs decrease, and the difference between the two narrows daily.

Because the price of the DE40 is adjusted for these financing costs, the DAX future and DE40 are identical at maturity.
